Business Jet Center

Rehabilitation to the original Oakland Airport Terminal into an FBO (Fixed Base Operator).  McNely Construction Company initially worked with Business Jet Center.  BJC based out of Dallas Texas provides a full spectrum of private executive jet service to high-profile clients.  The facility is now run by Landmark Aviation.  The original structure was dedicated by Charles Lindbergh in 1927 and served as the starting point for Amelia Earhart’s ill-fated around-the-world flight.  Additions to the structure were completed in the 1930s and 1950s and was for many years Oakland Airport Terminal.  Now, clients pull up to a first class terminal to access multi-level services.  Efforts were made to restore the exterior of the building that reflects the rich history of the structure with accents made to entries on both the street side and the ramp side, upgraded parking, customer drop-off and jet fueling station.  The interior includes new kitchen/food prep, restrooms, pilot sleep rooms, (2) conference rooms, private offices, flight planning room, reception and waiting areas.
