I-Fly – S.F. Bay

Construction of a new vertical wind tunnel for simulated sky-diving experience.  Project includes excavation and shoring for 18′ below grade foundations, suspended concrete slab at grade level, installation of structural steel, all mechanical systems with variable drive frequency controlled systems, all electrical systems for wind-tunnel functions, restrooms, reception and office space on first floor, viewing area, conference room, training room, kitchenette on mezzanine level, roofing at 28′ and 60′ levels.  McNely Construction Company assisted in design of exterior cladding systems of structure.  60′ Structure was built on 1/4 acre parcel with minimal lay down and staging area.
